Hire the Oast Rainham
Over the decades The Oast has hosted community groups, preschools and toddler groups, social and sporting clubs, corporate events, and celebrations of all occasions, not to mention our thriving live music events spanning traditional folk to modern rock.

We're proud to offer five rooms to suit your needs. The all-purpose Wakeley Hall, the cosy Tea Rooms, The Willow room for smaller events, our homely Granary Bar, or the expansive Oast Hall. Rooms can be booked for 8am-11pm, six days a week (depending on availability, closed on Sundays).

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept short notice requests and need at least seven day's notice for all booking requests.

Wakeley Hall
Our flagship, all-purpose hall with a terrific aspect, the ground-floor Wakeley Hall has enough space for up to one hundred seated guests.
It has its own kitchenette and separate entrance for private functions and easy wheelchair-access. Ideal for weddings, engagements, meetings and general celebrations that require a larger space.
Dimensions: 14m x 5.5m.
Tea Room
A cosy café area with enough space for a maximum of twenty-five guests. Ideal for morning coffee groups, baby showers, smaller get togethers, and afternoon tea-parties.
The Tea Room can also be hired alongside the Willow Room for additional space. Situated on the ground floor of The Oast, the room has wheel-chair access and access to a disabled toilet.
Dimensions: 6m x 4.5m.
The Willow
The Willow has a special sort of character, and with room for up to sixty people, is very flexible. The room has the benefit of access through the Tea Room if required and it's own side access from the driveway.
Ideal for Christenings, Wakes and general functions with the option of catering facilities through the Tea Rooms, this room also lends itself to use as a boardroom or small conference room.
Dimensions: 12m x 4m.
Granary Bar
Our first-floor Granary Bar has ample room for up to eighty seated people alongside a well stocked bar.
Home to most of our live music events, The Granary Bar is also a secluded meeting spot for smaller groups. Access to toilets are available on this floor.
Dimensions: 4m x 12.5m opening out to 6.5m x 3.5m.
Oast Hall
Our largest space, the grand Oast Hall has capacity for 175 seated guests.
A fabulous space for large events such as weddings, larger gigs, conferences and parties, it is also ideal for recreational use such as dancing, yoga and indoor sport. The hall can host bar services.
